Description: 7 Hardbound books. This is the critical edition of Jacques Auguste de Thou's (1553-1617) life's work published by Samuel Buckley in 1733. The books are in latin.
Condition: Books have owners marks and library stamps inside front cover. There is a note inside the first volume that states they were rebound in 1859. The bindings are tight. The covers are well worn and taped along the spines. The tape is very dry in some cases and a couple of the covers are loose, but pages are tight to the binding. Pages are in good condition with some foxing and image transference on facing pages. Occasional light soiling spread throughout the pages. All pages apprear to be here. These are very readable (if you read latin that is).
