We Have Moved!

The wait is finally over, we have moved into our new facility. This new building is located just down Service Road from our old building, see Map. We will have the same hours and phone number, so the only thing changing is our address. The new facility will offer better parking, lighting, and security for our customers while also greatly improve our ability to process items. The biggest change for our customers is the addition of public restroom and drinking fountain right on our sales floor.

We will be having a Grand Opening Celebration on October 2, 2009 which we will feature, door prizes, giveaways, food and drink and some other surprises. You can RSVP to the event here on Facebook, but everyone is welcome! Be sure to check back for more information on our Blog or on Twitter.

What is the MSU Surplus Store?

What do compost, pillows, cars, and bowling pins have in common? You can find them all at the MSU Surplus Store (at one time or another), along with hundreds of other items. Here at the MSU Surplus Store, we stock an incredible variety of items. Some are one of a kind, such as a robot that is designed to navigate based on its vision, others are more common like tables and chairs. Department Services Information

You may need to update some of your bookmarks to our site. We have discontinued our old web site (surplus.msu.edu) and are now using www.msusurplusstore.com for all business functions.

All of the same information is available at our Department Services page, but there have been a few changes to forms for MSU Departments. We have a new PURF Form, that may be used for receiving credit on your items. The Equipment Transfer Notice has not changed, but is to be only used for capital assets (See our Department Services page for more information).
